Hey everyone! Sooooo my kiddos are REALLY struggling with fiction and nonfiction! For some reason this surprised me a little bit, so I whipped up these posters the other night to hang in my room. I'm thinking a fiction/nonfiction mini-unit will happen very soon:) You can get these posters for FREE if you just follow
this link. Let me know if you download it, and how you plan to use it:)
I have been pretty overwhelmed this week with TRAININGS! I was out on Wednesday for a district training, and we are also in trainings all day tomorrow. I'm ready to have a long stretch of time in my classroom with my kiddos:) I hope you are all having a fantastic week, and I will be back to blog with you this weekend!
Thanks (again).
ReplyDeleteYou don't know it, but you're my new best friend;) I love your stuff! This weekend I'm going to buy and print your TEKS! Thanks sooo much for all your hard work.
So cute! Thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeleteHi:
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing these posters. Would you consider changing the nonfiction poster to "Books that tell, inform, teach, and explain about real things."
Respectfully.
Thank you very much for sharing!!! They are adorable:)
ReplyDeleteThese are great I will be downloading and using it for my library class! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I am in my first school librarian job and looking for posters to get the kid's attention and go along with the things we are discussing. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJust what I need for my formal evaluation props.
ReplyDeleteThanks, just what I was looking for to label the areas in my book corner. Hopefully the children will put the books away tidily in the correct place!
ReplyDeleteI will be having my unannounced observation sometime soon. I am going to use these as a part of that lesson. Thank you for sharing them.

I just downloaded these to use in my classroom library! I have fiction books in one bookcase and nonfiction in another, and I was hoping to find something exactly like these to label each bookcase with! I teach 2nd grade.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if it's okay to use the fiction and non-fiction images for our local small town public library book sale. They are perfect! I will give you credit. We are making the signs to re-use every year.
ReplyDeleteAs a school librarian, it drives me crazy when students identify nonfiction books as "real" books. Fiction books are real books too!
ReplyDeleteI downloaded your fiction and nonfiction posters. I am going to hang them in my library. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much - I will use these in the school library!
ReplyDeleteThese look great! Perfect signs to use for a classroom library. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThese posters are so cute! I teach first grade ELA/Reading only so I will use them in my classroom throughout the year. Thanks so much for sharing.
