Mother's Day Activity!

So my kiddos are not finished with their project yet, so I don't have any pictures available right now. HOWEVER, I know Mother's Day is quickly approaching, so I wanted post really quick about the activity my kids are doing. We are making Mother's Day Phone Books! I decided to mesh Apps on a cell phone with a coupon book to make something a little unique and different.

The kids are creating special Apps (jobs, nice gestures, etc) for their moms to put on a "phone." Their mom will be able to choose an App whenever they like, and the student must do whatever that App says! Each student is creating a phone unique to their mom, but I'm helping a little bit with ideas. Here is what I gave them for an example:

They make the phone, and then they explain what the App stands for. Some of them are choosing to make a big "App Store" where their moms will be able to pick which Apps they want to put on their phone:) So cute!

Hopefully we will be done with these tomorrow so I can post some pictures! Friday is our Field Day, and I'm already exhausted thinking about it!! Haha

You can find this activity HERE in my TpT store!!

We are currently studying American symbols. Do you mind if I create an American symbols iPhone? I will definitely give you credit for the original idea and link back to your blog. Thanks for considering.
